Admission From Home
A 3-day hospital stay is not required before admission to an acute rehabilitation hospital. Therefore, patients may be admitted to rehabilitation from home. We provide a no cost screening for individuals who might benefit from rehabilitation. To request a screening, the individual, a family member or a health care professional should call (864) 716-2609. Once the necessary medical history and current status information has been collected and reviewed, we will make appropriate recommendations based on Medicare admissions criteria guidelines.

Insurance
Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare. The hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies as needed. AnMed Health Rehabilitation Hospital is not a Medicaid provider.
